What is the baby doing at school?

So....apparently some of the Kinder kids are asking "What is the baby doing at school?", and we might need to do a little talk for them.  *giggle*....it is a little bit funny :)

I have to say.....I'm not really sure what to say!  I would love some tips on how to explain to young children that Ayla's brain  is a little bit broken....

I think keep it as simple as that - but not the word broken. Maybe say "She is just like you but her brain is still learning things that you already know"?

It's a tricky one. I don' tend to go too much into the 'brain' bit but rather 'his muscles don't work properly or the same way yours do. And I really dumb it down saying how Mac's walking muscles, sitting muscles, seeing muscles, talking muscles, drinking muscles etc don't work properly. Oh, and i would always say.. Oh, he's not a baby, he's 8 or whatever age he was at the time and point out he is actually older than them - that just messes with their heads LOL and I seem to get some sick satisfaction out of watching that thought process tick over.
